On March 16, 2019 , I was crowned Ms Wheelchair California 2019. I was in such Aw as the crown was placed on my head. I had tears running down my face as looked into the audience I could see my whole family and friend Tammy crying along with me. I was so proud of myself to have accomplished something that I have been wanting for a while. I can’t wait to represent Ms Wheelchair California 2019 over the next year. This year will be an amazing journey of advocacy, networking and friendships. Over the past year this is something that I have worked hard to accomplish. I competed last year and didn’t do so well. So over the past year I worked on hard to accomplish my goal to be crowned Ms. Wheelchair California 2019. Being crowned will open so many doors for me and teach me so many new things. This is going to be an awesome year!!
