Los Angeles Pride Parade

Hector Ochoa and his team of volunteers did a fantastic job with LA’s Disability Pride Parade!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the East LA Civic Center to celebrate the 3rd Annual Disability Pride Parade with us. It was a gorgeous day!

I had the opportunity to take the stage to share my platform, the mission of the Ms. Wheelchair California Leadership Institute and introduce my fellow Queen Jennifer Kumiyama, who blew us all away with her spectacular voice.

After visiting the vendors, I headed back towards the stage to enjoy the performances, take pictures with fans and hangout with the Laker Girls.

It was so good getting to see Mary Zendejas, her sister Lupita and the women from Michigan. We sat under a beautiful tree for the much needed shade and remenissed about our recent adventure in Grand Rapids at the competition for the title of Ms. Wheelchair America. I also finally had the chance to meet Ms. Wheelchair California 2017, the fabulous Tayloure Richardson and her lovely parents. It was the perfect fall day, complete with a Pumpkin Patch Petting Zoo.
