For everyone that is marathoning that hilarious show on Netflix, I hope that made you laugh. No, but really. Robyn and I had such a good time with our NorCal SCI family & friends at their inaugural fundraising gala! We raised over $37,000 plus $30,000 in pledges!
To kick off the live auction portion of the evening, I got the party started with ‘Hey Big Spender’. Robyn followed and brought the people to their feet with her rendition of Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars.
I even a bid on one of the auction items; an exciting flight in the Bay Area complete with a gourmet lunch after. I was immediately outbid You could imagine my delight when Paul the pilot, came over after the auction to let me know that if I liked, he would gladly take me up anytime.
I’ve met so many incredible people and made lots of great new friends who have incredible projects and ideas to benefit the disability community. Shout out to the SCI-FIT trainers who came Out to show some love… even though one of them tried to flex on me.
