“Jab-Right cross...Jab-Jab-Cross ... Jab-Cross-Left hook!”
On November 7th Margarita Elizondo held her 3rd Annual Each By Name event in the beautiful city of La Mesa in Southern California.
I was honored to be invited to speak and excited for the workshops. During one of the workshops I was taught the basics of Boxing. Boxing was exhausting and exhilarating! For the first time in a while I felt empowered, capable, challenged and invigorated. I am happy to announce I have continued boxing and learning the basics.
This event provided a unique opportunity to workshop and teach and learn with so many amazing women.
Each one of these events introduces to something new and I have to say learning to Box may have been one of the funnest and most rewarding discoveries! Ximena was my coach and she didn’t hold back. I woke up sore the next morning and thought, ‘Yes!’ boxing is definitely going to be my new cardio' 👍🏾👊🏾🥊👏🏾👸🏽
