Homecoming!

September 28, 2018

Homecoming: I'm sure neither Auggie or myself imagined we'd return 18 years after winning homecoming King & Queen to crown the 2019 Homecoming King & Queen. Sitting on the track field I was flooded with memories.

In high school sports were a huge part of my life. I lettered in Water Polo, Volleyball, Track & Field,Swimming, Softball & Soccer. As a teen, I had dreams of becoming a professional Soccer player.

Two years after graduating from high school however,  I suffered a paralyzing injury while snowboarding. I’ve faced some unique challenges, been given some phenomenal opportunities and Life continues to throw me surprises. I’ve learned to prepare for the worst, expect the best and Love and appreciate every second of it. It’s been a wild ride. I’m excited for the future and  I wouldn't change a thing.

Shout out to the class of 2000! Congratulations to Valarie Arevalo and Felipe Figueroa, Franklin High Schools 2019 Homecoming King &. Queen 🎉👸🏽🤴🏾

A very special Thank you to my high school homies; Alberto Rodriguez, Leona Hamilton & Dinah Clark for going above and beyond to set the stage for a very magical Homecoming night.
