Homecoming: I'm sure neither Auggie or myself imagined we'd return 18 years after winning homecoming King & Queen to crown the 2019 Homecoming King & Queen. Sitting on the track field I was flooded with memories.
In high school sports were a huge part of my life. I lettered in Water Polo, Volleyball, Track & Field,Swimming, Softball & Soccer. As a teen, I had dreams of becoming a professional Soccer player.
Two years after graduating from high school however, I suffered a paralyzing injury while snowboarding. I’ve faced some unique challenges, been given some phenomenal opportunities and Life continues to throw me surprises. I’ve learned to prepare for the worst, expect the best and Love and appreciate every second of it. It’s been a wild ride. I’m excited for the future and I wouldn't change a thing.
